An exhibit of quilts from the collection of the Buffalo History Museum on Elmwood Avenue, opened December 18, 2015 and continued for over a year. The museum wanted to include the quilting community in this exhibit and Linda Hunter organized the area guild to work on the project. Each guild was asked for a finished 12” block that represents the community in which that guild is involved, or something which is meaningful to the guild. The blocks were then quilted together and each guild worked on hand quilting the quilt together at the museum. The quilt is now a permanent part of the museum collection.
